Recognition Day (Nursery)

Saturday, March 28

It was my son's 1st recognition day in his nursery year. We arrived at 8 a.m. in his school at San Isidro Labrador School of Quezon City. They were in their workers costume. Bryce was dressed in his carpenter clothes carrying a couple of tools like a hammer, a saw, and others. It was quite funny when he arrived at school and his school mates were in cool tiny police and military costume. His chubby classmate wears an improvised toque on his head. Another one wears a fireman-like suit complete with a fire hose. Looking at them felt like I am in the storybook. They were all very cute!

At 9 a.m., the kids went up to the church venue just beside their school. Parents followed along. We sat on the second line from the platform where children are getting their certificates for being outstanding students of the year. I'm was proud and happy that Bryce is getting an award for being the "Most Courteous" as one of the five special awards being given.
